Phenol Resorcinol Formaldehyde (PRF)

Durability

Pressure-treated using Light Organic Solvent Preservative (LOSP) for protection against termite and other wood-boring insects; and against moderate fungal decay. The formulation used provides protection up to Australian Hazard Level 3A (ie suitable for external above ground structures)

Coated for UV protection  

The formulation used for both these treatments does not affect the original appearance of the timber

* Mengkulang requires waterproof coating or detailed to be protected from direct exposure to water and moisture
